aiming to control and avoid the coming of exotic plague of high risk to the fauna and flora of the country, known as “ Chinese Bug ”.The Agriculture Ministry inspects all the wood in the containers or free cargo to detect the presence of those plagues.

After its conclusion, it sends an Award of Inspection certifying the condition of the packing.

All cargos coming from Asia and America have to fulfill that rule.

Fumigation [ Wood Treatment ]

When it´s detected the presence of plague, wood must be treated and one of the possibilities is the Fitossanitary Treatment made by Fumigation.It´s injected Bromide of Methyl, the only one that has 100% of efficiency in contact of the plagues, being exposed 24 hours and its aeration time is of 3 hours.

At the end of the process is emitided the Purification Certificate, proving the fullfilment of the legal exigence.

Heating Treatment [ wood Treatment ]

When it´s detected the presence of plagues, wood must be treated and one of the treatment is through the Photossanitery one, i. e, Termic Treatment.

In treatment is issued the Heating Treatment Certificate, proving the fullfilment of the legal exigences.
