Marimex is proud to share a special achievement: we were honored at the Santos Port ESG Award 2025, receiving the 1st place in the Social Axis with the project Discovering Port Professions.

About the Santos Port ESG Award
Promoted by the Santos Port Authority, the ESG Award aims to recognize organizations and projects that stand out for adopting responsible, sustainable, and innovative practices, contributing to the development of the port sector and its surrounding area.
The award is based on the pillars of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), valuing initiatives that generate real positive impact on society, promote ethics, transparency, and respect for the environment.
No Social Pillar, actions are recognized that strengthen inclusion, expand access to education, stimulate human development, and contribute to improving the quality of life for communities impacted by the port environment.
This recognition reinforces the importance of projects that go beyond operations, generating social transformation and building a more sustainable future.
The winning project: Discovering Port Professions
The Discovering Port Professions Project is a Marimex initiative created to familiarize students with the reality of the port sector, sparking interest in new career possibilities and encouraging them to build their life plans.
Since 2018, more than 6,000 students from the municipal school systems of Santos and São Vicente have participated in the experience, which combines discussions, group dynamics, and practical activities. The goal is to broaden young people's perspectives on the world of work, strengthen self-confidence, and provide greater clarity on professional and personal choices.
