From April 22nd to 24th, Marimex participated in the 28th edition of Intermodal South America, the largest and most comprehensive event in Latin America dedicated to logistics, intralogistics, technology, cargo transport, and foreign trade sectors.

Marimex took a significant step towards sustainability by becoming a signatory of the UN Global Compact and signing the ESG Manifesto, solidifying its socio-environmental commitment. During a lecture for employees, Fábio Tatsubô, head of Depods at Santos City Hall, emphasized the urgency of effective actions to combat climate change. He reinforced the importance of port companies as agents of positive impact. Santos stood out in the 2024 Sustainability Ranking, strengthening its leadership in ESG practices. Marimex takes on new responsibilities, aligning itself with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On August 8th and 9th, the Sheraton Hotel in Santos hosted the VIII Brazilian Congress of Maritime and Port Law, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Maritime Law (ABDM) in partnership with Santa Cecília Communication System and Unisanta. Crucial topics, such as the collection of property tax (IPTU) on infrastructure concessions, were highlights of the event, which brought together various industry authorities to discuss these issues.
